Tech Stuff
Whenever we start working with clients, the question comes up, "What kind of equipment and software do you use?" Here are the answers to your most common questions.
FINALE MUSIC NOTATION SOFTWARE - Version 25.5.0
We've been using it for about 25 years. It can do ANYTHING you need done in music typesetting. We like it because of its compatibility with the majority of musicians and publishers. All finished work will be sent to you as a FINALE file and a PDF file.

SOUND EFFECTS
We use the UVI Sound Effects library with over 10,000 effects. Plenty of stuff to choose from. These can be triggered in real time with our MIDI keyboard. Sounds can be layered in real time. We also subscribe to another online SFX library with over 70,000 sounds. They have downloadable WAV files.
iMAC with DUAL MONITORS
1TB internal hard drive and multiple external hard drives for other projects. Currently operating on macOS High Sierra. Processor: 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3. Graphics: ATI Radeon HHD 4670 256 MB. 12.0 GB RAM memory. USB to computer, hard drives and PreSonus Faderport 8.
PROTOOLS - Version 2018.4.0
ProTools is our recording software choice because it is compatible with most of the studios we work with. Sessions can easily be saved and sent to other studios by thumb-drive or external hard drive. It can do ANYTHING you need done in the recording and editing world.
MELODYNE by Celemony
Melodyne lets you work with audio in an entirely new way. One that is musical, nifty, crystal-clear and almost magical. Working with Melodyne is like being able to say to a singer “hold this note a bit longer” or to a pianist “give slightly less weight to the third in this chord” – hours, weeks, even years after the recording session.
The fantastic editing possibilities, the outstanding sound quality and the intuitive and musical operation make Melodyne an incomparable tool without which it would be hard to imagine modern music production.
